Post Grad Party 2023
Hello, Class of 2023 Parents,
It’s been a longstanding tradition to have parents/guardians from the graduating class host a Post Grad Party. The Post Grad committee was formed years ago to organize and provide a safe, FUN, substance-free party in the hopes of preventing any graduation night heartbreak and tragedies. Due to Covid, it’s been a few years since we’ve been able to carry on this tradition for the Newest Stevens High School Graduates. We are so excited to be able to bring it back this year!
Graduation is on June 8th, and we need to raise at least $25,ooo. To help with the overall cost of the party, which includes the venue, entertainment, food, raffles, individual gifts/giveaways, and so much more.
Over the years, it’s always been understood that the Post Grad Party requires a lot of time, money, and fundraising/donation efforts. It’s also been accepted and understood that all families are different and aren’t always able to donate time or help fundraise, and that’s okay! With that in mind, an “opt-out” option was instituted years ago to allow for participation without the added stress of finding the time to help.
If you find that you don’t have the time or the energy (or both) to contribute to fundraising events, planning efforts, etc., please send you're opt-out payment of $150.oo to:

With a note that has your name, your student's name, and an email where you can be reached for confirmation of payment. Checks can be made payable to SHS Post Grad, or you may send your payment to school with your student and have them give it to Holly Bressette. If you're sending your payment to the school, please include a note with your name, your student's name, and an email you can be reached at for email confirmation of payment. If you would like to opt out but are unable to afford $150.oo all at once, please contact Brandi Girard at 603 477-3957 to set up a payment plan.
Along with the opt-out option, it’s been a longstanding requirement that in order for parents/guardians to participate on the night of Post Grad, they must have either sent in their opt-out payment OR have contributed to fundraisers, planning efforts, etc. This wasn’t meant to upset anyone but rather deter parents/guardians from showing up at the event that they didn’t contribute to.
With that said, we would like to offer our deepest apologies for being off to such a late start with correspondence this year. There have been some challenges with how to disseminate information to parents, but with the help of Shanee, Holly, and the Administration, we’re back on track.
Unfortunately, the school isn’t allowed to give the Post Grad Committee a list of home and email addresses, BUT they have been so kind as to “snail mail” AND email this correspondence to all graduating senior families, and we appreciate that!

Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 pm at the Claremont Savings Bank Community Center to collaborate and organize for this year's Post Grad Party. Meetings will likely increase as we get closer to graduation. The next meeting is scheduled for April 3rd @ 6 pm. We would love to see you there!
